Most Western manufacturers will make use of Velocity (FPS or FTS) as the measuring unit for airsoft gun power level standards, but Joules (J) is the other Measuring unit used by Eastern Manufacturers for calculating for the same purpose.

Below are the essential calculator that will help you calculate Velocity to J or vice versa based on the type of BB (default 6mm BB - G = Gram) you are shooting with.

NOTE :

 

A) To calculate J (Using Gram of BB / FPS)

1) "Choose a calculation tab" - pick - "Calculate KE I Given m, v"

2) "KE=" - pick - "J"

3) "m=" input the Gram of the BB used  -pick- "g"

4) "v=" input the FPS detected -pick- "ft/s"

5) press "calculate"

B) To Calculate FPS (Using Gram of BB / J)

1) "Choose a calculation tab" - pick - "Calculate v I Given KE, m"

2) "KE="  input the Joules detected - pick - "J"

3) "m=" input the Gram of the BB used  -pick- "g"

4) "v=" -pick- "ft/s"
